'NT Authority\Self'  and Send-As Permissions
Hi, This is a slightly generalised question around the addition of 'NT Authority\Self' to a users Send-As permissions. As I understand it, this is done to allow a user to send as themselves, what is the reasoning for this being an explicit permission? Also, after using PS to find who has and has not got this, around 60% of my users do not have this permission, with no ill effect. Some pointers / clarification would be great, Thanks, Rich

The answer to this qeustion may perhaps give you some clarification: Why do I need additional permissions not provided with the Exchange Recipient Administrator role to perform certain operations against mailboxes, such as changing the mailbox type? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310792.aspx Jon-Alfred Smith MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M
